💛 U-Co-op is ready to welcome our whole community back! 💛
Our U-Co-op staff has been hard at work this past week. We’ve been reconnecting with one another, dreaming together, learning together, and thinking about the kind of community we want to create this year. 🌱✨ Our week was filled with connection, collaboration, learning, planning, training, goal setting, and plenty of conversation — all with your children at the heart of it.
Each staff member also chose one word they want to carry into the year and painted it onto a rock. Together, those rocks represent the hopes and intentions our educators are bringing to this school year. 🪨✨

We’re feeling energized, inspired, and SO excited for what’s ahead!

Building and getting creative! ☀️🎨
Last week our K–2 campers put their building skills to work! They designed tinfoil boats, built cardboard houses, created card castles, and engineered their own marble runs. 🛶🏠🏰
Our 3–5 campers had an art-filled week full of imagination and self-expression! They made tinfoil & hot glue art, tie-dye creations, kindness rocks, paper mache projects, nature collages, still-life and self-portraits. 🎨🌈🪨
So many big ideas, creative projects, and proud smiles! We love seeing where our campers’ imaginations take them.

We know how to summer! 😎🌞

From flipping pancakes in the kitchen 🥞 and baking homemade dog treats 🐶 to getting messy making slime 🌈, our campers have been hard at work creating their very own cookbook! We also explored the zoo learning fascinating facts about animals 🦉, practiced independence by riding the city bus 🚌, and watched our talented drama campers put on an amazing show! 🎭✨
