Tomorrow, we recognize National Gun Violence Awareness Day, a time to come together, reflect, and stand in support of safer communities.
At Seattle Public Schools, our focus is always on the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families. We know that a strong sense of safety is essential for learning, growth, and connection.
We honor the lives impacted by gun violence and the many individuals and organizations working to prevent it.
We encourage our community to wear orange today in recognition of this day and to show our shared commitment to safety and care for one another.
Together, we can continue building communities where every student feels safe, supported, and able to thrive. 🧡
