ππ£ Join Us at the RISE Virtual Conference! π£π
We are thrilled to announce that Dirk Van Velzen, CEO of the Prison Scholar Fund, and David Moore, Director of Operations at the Prison Scholar Fund, will be sharing their powerful insights at the RISE Conference on September 11, 2024!
π Topic: The Influence of Digital Equity on Reintegration with the Fabric of Society
Dirk and David, with over 30 years of combined lived experience navigating the criminal justice system, will speak about their journeys of reentry and how digital literacy has played a transformative role in their reintegration. They will discuss the digital divide faced by justice-impacted individuals and how access to digital literacy programs can empower them to build successful futures.
Dirk will draw from his leadership in advocating for education and digital equity in and outside of prison, while David will share about the current landscape of digital literacy programs and their impact on changing lives. Together, their unique perspectives will shed light on the future of bridging the digital divide and creating opportunities for those returning to society after incarceration.
This is an incredible opportunity to hear from two leaders who have turned their personal challenges into a mission to uplift communities through education, technology, and social impact. π‘

Contrary to AI negating the need for human learning, it requires it in a continuous loop. The more knowledge we acquire and feed AI, the more amazing ways it can benefit us with the organization, storage, and dissemination of that knowledge. Embrace learning and AI, as you continue your journey on this fascinating new AI knowledge loop.
