Summer Camp this year has been so much fun!

We are so excited to see everyone again for preschool, but don’t want this glorious summer to end.

Preschool Program Tessera is a Greek word describing a small tile used to create mosaics. We chose this name because we see each child as unique and individual, and also as an integral part of our larger community. We work together to create a supportive, unhurried environment where children can focus on processes,

Initial Collages were our main art project these last couple of days. Everyone created the first letter of their name using a variety of papers, ribbons, and notions.

We’re bringing spring to life with art!

We started with seed art and garden projects and have loved on to making flowers. As our plants grow we’ll see how well our art matches.

Looking for an arts and play-based preschool program? We are still enrolling for the 21-22 school year! Tessera offers a creative, developmentally-appropriate half-day program for 2.5 to 5 year-olds. We are conveniently located in North Seattle, 2 minutes from the N 130th street exit. We offer small class sizes, large indoor spaces and easy access to our fully fenced playground. All stages of potty training are welcome.

We have openings for remote learning care!
Hours 9:30 - 1:30, Monday through Thursday. Flexible schedules. Cost is $200 per day of the week enrolled/month, plus a nonrefundable $200 registration fee.
