Book joy took center stage during the annual Giddens Book Swap! With hundreds of books donated by the community, every Giddens student had the chance to choose a book to take home for the summer. Teachers and families also found titles to add to their to-read pile. Thank you to all who cleaned off their shelves and donated gently used books - this event is possible thanks to your generosity!

Friday evening, the Giddens community gathered for ArtsFest, an annual spring celebration of the arts! After a school-wide dinner, families explored dozens of art projects displayed throughout the building. The spring music concert wraps up the event.
The pride of our students is evident: their hard work is showcased and appreciated by the whole school community!

As part of their publishing celebration, kindergarteners visited our neighbors at Lake Washington Girls School to share their self-written pieces. Ldub students then read-aloud favorite picture books. What a wonderful way to collaborate and highlight the importance of literacy!

This week was Children’s Book Week, and our library celebrates by transforming into a reading wonderland! Light-filled caves, twinkling tents, and cozy reading corners welcome students all week long to slow down and snuggle in to a story. This event exemplifies our library’s commitment to making reading joyful and is a student favorite!
