💦 Venture Out: Summer Sun Water Play — 2 Locations! 💦
Wednesday, August 12 | 11am–12pm

Join us for a supportive monthly social group that gives families the tools, resources, and connection to explore Seattle with confidence. Led by our expert therapists and educators, families build friendships, share strategies, and belong in a judgment-free space.

This group is for families who:
🔹 Want to build a collaborative, supportive community around their kids
🔹 Worry about their child's safety in the community or at playgrounds
🔹 Find themselves staying home instead of getting out and about
🔹 Want a safe, judgment-free space to connect with other families

This month we're splashing into summer with water play, chalk drawings, and bubbles — choose whichever location works for you!

Big news from Boyer! 🎉

We're thrilled to announce that Dr. Megan Beers — Boyer's Chief Program Officer — has been named our new Chief Executive Officer following a nationwide search!

A licensed clinical psychologist with over 17 years in early childhood systems of care, Megan has already made a real impact on our programs since joining Boyer. The Board is confident she's the right leader to carry Boyer's 80+ year legacy forward.

"I'm excited to write this next chapter together, alongside a community that has given so much to make Boyer what it is today," shares Megan.

What a debut! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the first-ever Swing Fore the Kids! Participants from Seattle and the Bend area alike came together at Pronghorn Golf Club for two days of championship golf in support of Boyer Children's Clinic. Together, we raised an incredible $47,000!

A special thank you to our Grand Marshals, Kraig McCoy and John Stockamp, whose vision and leadership made this inaugural event the success it was. There's nothing like a summer day at the ballpark, and next Sunday’s game will be especially meaningful for organizations like Boyer!

We're proud to share that the Jordan Fund, a longtime friend and supporter of Boyer, is teaming up with the Seattle Mariners for the first Disability Day at T-Mobile Park. On Sunday, July 5th at 2:00 PM, the Mariners take on the Toronto Blue Jays, and we'd love to have our community there!

For the children and families at the center of Boyer's work, days like this are a powerful reminder that accessibility and inclusion matter, and that EVERYONE belongs.

Boyer will be closed on Friday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the emancipation of Black Americans and celebrates Black freedom, culture, history, achievements, and resilience.

We encourage our staff, families, and community to honor this day by attending local Juneteenth celebrations, supporting Black-owned businesses, volunteering with organizations that advance civil rights and racial justice, or engaging in educational opportunities about the ongoing fight for equality.
