FULL-TIME NANNY NEEDED IN PHINNEY RIDGE - JULY START

OUR FAMILY: Is loving, fun and creative. We have three boys and love the enthusiasm and action they bring to the house. Our 6-year-old is in elementary school and our 4-year-old is in full-time preschool so care will be primarily for their 6-month-old baby brother. Our baby loves all people (he is a super social and smiley baby), especially his brothers. He likes being tickled, sung to, and going for walks outside when he’s not getting tummy time! Our oldest loves robots, LEGOs, stories, drawing, and helping with household tasks, especially caring for his younger sibling. Our middle child enjoys monster trucks, drawing, being silly, and lending a hand around the house. Both children have been enjoying running, swimming, and regular outings to parks and play spaces for active play. They respond especially well to caregivers who are playful, creative, and able to engage with them in fun and imaginative ways.

OUR HOME: Organized chaos! Both parents work from home but keep our offices in the basement and have a separate bathroom and kitchen there to stay completely out of the way. We prioritize being loving and supportive parents who provide emotional regulation for our kids, while giving clear and consistent boundaries and expectations.

OUR GOALS: Our priority is that our baby has someone who is dedicated to providing him a regular routine of sleep, feeding and play, ideally starting to engage in some of his own activities like music classes and outdoor time. We also want some help with occasional transport and childcare for our other kids, and child-related household responsibilities like tidying up the baby room and play area and children’s laundry.

OUR NANNY: Warmth, flexibility, and an open-minded approach to neurodiversity are very important to our family. Commitment: Ability to commit to the family’s timeline.
Local: Residence in the Greater Seattle Area.
Payroll: Comfortable with W2 employment and payroll processing.
Driving: Valid driver’s license, safe and insured vehicle, clean driving record.

OUR FAMILY: We’re a warm, active, and family-oriented household that enjoys learning, exploring, and making everyday moments meaningful. Spending quality time together, both with our immediate family and friends, is very important to us, and we love finding fun and engaging ways to enjoy life’s little adventures! We have three children: a 4.5-years old girl, 2.5-years old boy and their newborn baby sister! Our oldest will attend full-time preschool in the Fall so the primary focus of care will be for our youngest two. Our middle child will also start part-time preschool in winter. Our kiddos all like playing outside, learning and having conversations about subjects that interest them (they are very curious!), reading books, painting, coming up with their own imaginary games, learning to do things on their own, being silly, and berries.

OUR HOME: Our home is welcoming, cheerful, and thoughtfully maintained, while still feeling comfortable and family-centered. The kids have easy access to a variety of toys, books, and activities that encourage independent play and creativity. Both parents work remotely and enjoy popping in to connect with the children throughout the day when appropriate. We also love spending time with our community and taking advantage of nearby parks and local outings together. We have grandparents and friends that come over often, we value our community and love to have playdates and hangouts!

Our crew consists of Mom and Dad, both working professionals, a bright and spirited 3‑year‑old toddler and a 1-year-old cutie. Our toddler is a total ray of sunshine, outgoing personality, and constantly curious. She loves books, imaginative play, arts and crafts, music, and exploring the world around her. She’s always eager to experiment or learn something new and thrives with structure balanced by creativity and fun. Our baby is a total joy; full of smiles, sweet, and observant. She is right in the middle of exciting milestone development; learning to take her first steps and speak her first words. She enjoys cruising around and exploring the house or taking in the world around her. At the heart of it all, we’re a close‑knit, fun‑loving family who enjoys family dinners, checking in with each other, and dreaming up our next big, or small, adventure.

OUR HOME: Generally neat and tidy, though that doesn't always apply to the kids’ rooms as they have their own definition of “clean.” We are fairly organized and tend to keep a stocked fridge and pantry unless we miss our weekly grocery run. Mom and Dad both work from home in separate office spaces but may pop in to say hi or grab a snack when it’s not distracting. We have two hypoallergenic dogs. They are sweet pups who spend their days at our feet or searching for anything yummy the kids might have dropped on the ground.

OUR GOALS: The older kids are largely independent, so we are looking for a caring, loving, experienced nanny to support our toddler and baby. We want this person to spend their days nurturing both children’s developmental milestones. Someone who can help our toddler grow in confidence, creativity, patience, and independence, while supporting our baby’s physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
During the summer, care will be full time for both children. During the school year, care will focus on the baby and the toddler part time when she is not in preschool. We are looking for someone who can make a long‑term commitment, grow with our family, and truly become a trusted part of our children’s lives.
