NEWBORN CARE SPECIALIST NEEDED IN MAPLE LEAF ASAP

OUR FAMILY: We are a warm, caring family preparing to welcome our newest (and smallest!) housemate this September. We take our sleep seriously, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously. The Team: Mom & Dad: Big fans of uninterrupted sleep, structured routines, and high-functioning mornings. We value great communication, zero-judgment teamwork, and keeping things light when nighttime chaos strikes. The Big Brother: Our sweet, hilarious 3-year-old son. He will be tucked away sleeping soundly on his own floor, completely oblivious to the midnight drama. The Resident Floor Pillow: Our big, gentle labrador retriever. He is equal parts furry cuddle-bug and professional snooze-artist. He’ll give you a warm greeting when you walk in, then happily go back to sleep. Your main focus will be the absolute newest (and likely loudest) member of our family!

OUR HOME: The Vibe: Warm, welcoming, and relaxed. We love mid-century modern style, functional routines, and spaces that feel cozy yet intentionally organized. While it’s a full house with a busy toddler and a big dog, we aim for a peaceful, comfortable environment where you can step in, feel right at home, and do your best work.

OUR GOALS: Create a calm, trusting and relaxed environment to promote recovery and sleep. We hope to find someone who can bring expertise and heart into every visit—helping us feel less overwhelmed, more supported, and fully cared for.

OUR SONG: Currently our son will only let us listen to the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack.

OUR NCS: We are looking for a warm, steady, and sleep-saving expert to join our family’s night time survival team. The mission, should they choose to accept it: take excellent care of our tiny human while the rest of the house gets the glorious, uninterrupted sleep required to function like human beings the next day.

DUE DATE: 9-24-2026

SCHEDULE: Overnight care 4-7x per week

TIMELINE: 4 weeks

HOURLY RATE: $50-53 per hour.

BENEFITS: Guaranteed Hours, WA State Paid Sick Leave.

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: Professional certification as a Newborn Care Specialist, Postpartum Doula, or extensive overnight newborn care experience with certification in progress. Sorry, no exceptions.
References: Stellar feedback from at least 3 previous clients in a similar role.
Background: Spotless criminal history and identity verification.
Safety: CPR & First Aid certified or willing to complete before hire.
Commitment: Ability to commit to the family’s timeline.
Local: Residence in the Greater Seattle Area.
Professionalism: Provide a detailed/formatted resume and NCS contract in your application.
Driving: Valid driver’s license, safe and insured vehicle, clean driving record.
Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Communication: Prompt and professional communication skills.
Enthusiasm: Genuine love for newborns and families.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in dynamic family environments.
Discretion: Utmost confidentiality and respect for the privacy of families.
Vaccines: Vaccinations required for the role.
Other: No smoking or va**ng. No accompanying children permitted.

CHOOSE YOUR ROLE IN LESCHI

OUR FAMILY: We’re a warm, active family of four who love spending time together and making the most of life in Seattle. One parent works fully remotely, while the other has a hybrid schedule and primarily works from a downtown office. Our four-year-old daughter is imaginative, curious, and full of personality, with a particular love of stories, books, art projects, dancing, climbing, and imaginative storytelling—whether she’s listening to a story, telling one herself, or acting out elaborate adventures with her teddies. Our baby is an easygoing, social little six-month-old guy who loves being part of the action, exploring new foods and skills, and joining us wherever the day takes us. We enjoy getting outside in the city on our bikes or heading to the trails to hike, climb and mountain bike. Our daughter is starting her second year of preschool, where she’ll be Monday–Friday, 8–3pm. On weekdays after school, you’ll often find us shell hunting at the nearby beach, having friends over for play, or working on a project at home (baking, gardening, crafting, or whatever captures our interest that day). One of our favorite projects recently was making a rainbow rice sensory bin! As parents, we value warmth, consistency, curiosity, and engaged attention, and we try to create a predictable but flexible environment where our children feel secure enough to explore, be themselves, develop independence, and learn to be thoughtful members of their community.

OUR HOME: Is a single family home with a fenced yard, a separate playroom for the kids, and walking distance to the water, playground, coffee shops, and neighborhood garden. We are also a pescetarian household and do not currently have pets at home but plan to get cats in the near future.

OUR GOALS: We aim to provide a warm, consistent, and predictable environment where both children feel secure, supported, and encouraged to grow in independence, curiosity, and confidence.

OUR SONG: “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles.

OUR NANNY -or- FAMILY ASSISTANT (choose one): Nanny role: Solely child-focused. We are looking for a caregiver who can be engaged and attentive- reading, playing, talking, singing, creating, exploring, and supporting emotional development- while maintaining flexible routines around our baby’s naps, meals, and transitions and giving the 4-year-old meaningful one-on-one attention. We value active, screen-free days filled with outdoor time, imaginative play, crafts, books, music, and connection, and hope for a caregiver who feels like a trusted extension of our parenting, aligned with our values and comfortable taking initiative while respecting our routines and boundaries.
Family Assistant Role: Childcare and household blend. Duties will include childcare and following routine as outlined by parents, family errands, oversight of health and safety, family laundry, age-appropriate activities, transportation, outings to parks, classes, playdates, grocery shopping, meal preparation, tidying common areas and organization projects as time allows.

START DATE: No later than 10/9/2026, flexible for the right fit.

SCHEDULE: 32-40 hours guaranteed. Monday through Friday 8am-4pm with the option for 1-2 half days and/or adjusted hours (8am-3pm) should you desire less hours.

HOURLY RATE: $37-41 depending on role duties and experience.

BENEFITS: Family Vehicle Provided, Guaranteed Hours, Paid Sick Leave, 9 Paid Federal Holidays, 2 Weeks Paid Vacation, Healthcare Stipend.

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: 3+ years of recent professional nanny or family assistant experience with similar ages.
References: Stellar feedback from at least 3 previous long-term employers in a similar role.
Background: Spotless criminal history and identity verification.
Safety: CPR & First Aid certified or willing to complete before hire.
Commitment: Ability to commit to the family’s timeline.
Local: Residence in the Greater Seattle Area.
Payroll: Comfortable with W2 employment and payroll processing.
Driving: Valid driver’s license, safe and insured vehicle, clean driving record.
Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Communication: Prompt and professional communication skills.
Enthusiasm: Genuine love for children and families.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in dynamic family environments.
Discretion: Utmost confidentiality and respect for the privacy of families.
Vaccines: Vaccinations required for the role.
Other: No smoking or va**ng. No accompanying children permitted.

FULL-TIME NANNY NEEDED IN KIRKLAND

OUR FAMILY: We are a family of five! At home, we love to cook (and eat!), play with legos, brio train set, magnet tiles, and read books. Outdoors, we love to ski, mountain bike, go to the playground/beach, and our older two kids are learning to swim. Our boys are 3-years-old and 5-years-old with a baby brother who was born in June. Our 5-year-old is learning to ski and mountain bike and loves both. We're a busy and active family, we don’t have a TV and value in-person interaction. Our kids are energetic, rambunctious, funny, sweet and smart. They love arts and crafts, biking, going to the playground, and of course all vehicles; construction trucks, trains, airplanes, and monster trucks. In the Fall, our 3yr old will return to his half-day preschool MWF, and our eldest will start kindergarten at a new school.

OUR HOME: We will start a major remodel on our home in Kirkland very soon, and have moved into a rental house across town. While our physical residence is temporary, our "metaphorical home" is welcoming, accommodating, family-focused, values dinner table discussions and family meals.

OUR GOALS: Help mom get some sleep during the newborn phase. Encourage social and emotional development of kids. Occasionally help with newborn care if one or both older kids are out of the house.

OUR SONG: Our 5-year-old went through a "sea shanty" phase (yes, as in pirate songs)...he's a character. We also love Chappell Roan, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, as well as classic rock bands like the Eagles, Rolling Stones, etc. Lately, our song has been “Take me Out to the Ballgame.” The boys learned it at preschool and have become baseball fans since going to their first Mariners’ game this summer.

OUR NANNY: Will be honest, energetic, assertive, good at setting boundaries/being stern, comfortable with multiple kids and infants, reliable and a good communicator. Someone who is comfortable helping to de-escalate sibling squabbles and who can help with child-focused tidying- we encourage our sons to help with cleanup! During the summer, role will be focused on our elder two- pickup/drop off at summer camps, activities and occasional infant care to give mom breaks. Once school starts, we need a nanny who can help with school pick-up/drop-off with the older two, and infant care while one or both kids are in school. We would love to have someone who is willing to travel with us on family trips (both locally and abroad), but this is not a deal breaker. We try to reserve screen time as a reward, and are looking for a nanny who can help the kids find other ways to entertain themselves.

START DATE: ASAP, flexible for the right fit.

SCHEDULE: 30-40 hours guaranteed, we are somewhat flexible hours. Core hours needed are M-F 8am-4pm.

HOURLY RATE: $36-45 per hour.

BENEFITS: Guaranteed Hours, Paid Sick Leave, Paid Federal Holidays, 2 Weeks Paid Vacation Your Choice, Healthcare Stipend DOE.

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: 3+ years of recent professional nanny or family assistant experience with similar ages. Newborn experience required.
References: Stellar feedback from at least 3 previous long-term
employers in a similar role.
Background: Spotless criminal history and identity verification.
Safety: CPR & First Aid certified or willing to complete before hire.

FULL-TIME FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED IN MEDINA

OUR FAMILY: We are learning and growing with two young adventurers! Friends are family, family is everything, and if you are in our world we hope you are in it forever. Our 4-year-old (going on 40) daughter is a twirling, whirling, glittering, princess. Our 2-year-old brings the zippy, nutty, energy into our house. He adores his big sister and tolerates and welcomes dress up especially if it gets him invited to the playroom tea party. We also have an Australian Shepard dog that is a big barking baby but settles once he has greeted every person that comes through the door. Our kiddos attend pre-k and preschool, respectively, and we hope to get them signed up for other fun classes and activities in the Fall!

OUR HOME: We can only hope our kids would say home is where the heart is! This includes practical messes, lots of play, and structure for peace and rest. Our home allows for a come as you are policy. Mom will be in and out throughout the day and hopes to find a working balance of time together while also giving the caregiver autonomy. We are always striving to improve our space to help the kids engage in learning and independent play. We usually have music playing and the windows open!

OUR GOALS: We are so ready to have a caregiver come into our world and join our family during these dynamic and important young years. Our family is looking to find someone for the long haul and we hope this isn’t just a job for someone, it is choosing us and our kids to become part of your life. Our goal is to foster our kids' growth and development, instill strong values, and bring loads of fun to their childhood. The biggest goal is to have a caregiver that can elevate our family by being an extra set of hands- more silliness, more patience, more ability to tackle the challenges, and more magic!

OUR SONG: “Growin’ Up” by Walker McGuire - preferably with all the windows down driving home, or dishes still in the sink after a dinner dance sesh!

OUR FAMILY ASSISTANT: All things good, happy, and what everyone hopes for in a caretaker! For us it is all those obvious traits plus someone who is very experienced. We appreciate someone who is proactive and able to jump right in. When the kiddos are at school we want someone tackling the household list- family errands, oversight of health and safety, family laundry, age-appropriate activities, transportation, outings to parks, classes, playdates, grocery shopping, meal preparation, tidying common areas, pet care and home organization. Our caregiver will ideally be finding projects to improve our organization and routines and enjoys these daily tasks. With the kids our caregiver will be bringing new and imaginative play- engaging in new crafts or activities. Meeting our kids at their level and understanding child behavior and development to bring exceptional childcare every day. Someone who will love our kids like family. Life with kids cannot be taken too seriously, so we value someone who enjoys being silly, lighthearted, and not afraid to dance in the kitchen when the day is calling for a bit of sunshine. We love exploring and letting the kids learn through experience, so finding someone who is up for a bit of mud and mess, and is happy to adventure is the right person for us! We would love to find someone who can occasionally travel with us and do very occasional overnights.

START DATE: 10/12/2026, slightly flexible for the right fit.

SCHEDULE: 35 hours hours, M-F 11am-6pm.

HOURLY RATE: $39-42 per hour.

BENEFITS: Family Vehicle Provided, Guaranteed Hours, Paid Sick Leave, 8 Paid Federal Holidays, 2 Weeks Paid Vacation Your Choice, $200 Healthcare Stipend.

Payroll: Comfortable with W2 employment and payroll processing.
Driving: Valid driver’s license, safe and insured vehicle, clean driving record.
Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
