Congratulations to ATJI’s Scholar for Justice Meg Rutherford for being recognized as a 2023 Stevens Public Interest Fellow!
Meg, a rising 2L, will be interning at the Eastside Legal Assistance Program in Bellevue. This summer, she will be primarily working on domestic violence cases involving protection orders, as well as dissolution proceedings.

Congratulations to Meralina Morales for being recognized as a 2023 Stevens Public Interest Fellow!
Meralina, a rising 3L, will be interning at the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Environmental Justice. This summer, she will be reaching out to the Jackson, Mississippi community regarding the ongoing water quality crisis in the city to better understand priorities and desired solutions.
As the Student Bar Association’s Public Interest Representative, Meralina also furthers public interest by leading ATJI’s Pro Bono Day.
We'll be highlighting each of our three John Paul Stevens Foundation Fellows this week so be on the look out!

Congratulations to ATJI's Moderate Means Program Fellow Emma Jensen for being recognized as a 2023 Stevens Public Interest Fellow! Emma, a rising 3L, will be interning at the Innocence Project of Northern California. This summer, she will help provide legal assistance to clients who are innocent of the crimes for which they have been convicted.
