Seattle Yacht Club members made the podium at two national regattas over the weekend! Congrats to Brian Ledbetter and the Midnight Blue team for winning the Melges 20 National Championship! And congratulations to Jay Renehan for taking silver at the RS Aero North American Championship!

Epic sailing conditions for Saturday's Vashon Island Race! This is the second race of the Tri-Island Series.

SYC Vashon 2018 - Jan's Marine Photography Oh, darn it, a flat out gorgeous, beautiful day, presenting a variety of challenging conditions, with sunsine and sails all around, with sixty expectant competitors, a solo expectant PhotoBoat trying to cover most the bases, and a variety of marine life at every buoy encountered – what joy! Geez ....

Congratulations to SYC sailors Dieter Creitz and Conrad Miller for winning a bronze medal at the RS Feva World Championships! There were only 8 American teams in an international fleet of 51 boats. Way to go!

SYC Race Team sailors Dieter Creitz and Conrad Miller are competing at the RS Feva Worlds in Clearwater, FL this week. 51 boats registered and only 8 from the USA, racing starts today!

Seattle Yacht Club had a team at the Women's Winter Invitational Regatta over the weekend, hosted by San Diego Yacht Club. Our sailors embraced San Diego's famous sunny skies and warm breeze, a welcome change from the record-breaking frigid temps in the PNW!
