Tomorrow in Madrona 311, REP and OSHR will be hosting a grocery fare for HFS residents at 6 pm. Come grab actual groceries! And learn about how to shop for and select nutritious foods and meals. We'll also share resources to address food equity and food justice and provide additional pointers on accessing affordable nutrition .

Racism, past, present, and future, causes racial health disparities. Seattle and King County have a history of redlining, oppression, and discrimination that still has lasting consequences today for Black communities as well as all of us. It’s important to recognize the systemic and racist roots of today’s health disparities in order to be a part of equity and effective interventions
