Shoutout for HNA Alumna Dr. Clara Doctolero ’96 who visited with our two AP Psychology classes to share the work she’s doing in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. We were psyched to have her back under the Dome!

Congratulations to Holy Names Academy’s Class of 2026 on your high school graduation! Your time at HNA has been filled with incredible achievements, and we pray for your continued growth in faith and knowledge as you begin your next chapter. Highlights from Sunday’s commencement ceremony at Benaroya Hall included local award-winning journalist, and HNA parent, Angela Russell delivering an inspiring address and co-valedictorians Greta Kirschner and Maya Russell sharing beautiful student reflections.
Members of the Class of 2026 were admitted to 235 different institutions, from which the graduates have chosen to attend 82. They will spread out across 24 states, the District of Columbia, and three countries outside the U.S. Beyond all their accomplishments, they are truly remarkable young people who will make a meaningful impact on our world. Best wishes, Cougars! ❤️🩶

Dear Alumnae Community,
As you know, Sr. Dorothy Dees, SNJM died peacefully on March 16. Her funeral Mass will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, in the HNA Chapel with Father Phil Boroughs presiding.
The service for Sr. Dorothy will be a small, intimate gathering. We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support and encourage those unable to attend to join us in spirit.
Blessings,
Holy Names Academy

In loving memory of Sister Dorothy Dees, SNJM.
Sister Dorothy Dees, SNJM, died peacefully on March 16 at the age of 91.
A devoted member of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary since 1958, Sr. Dorothy served Holy Names Academy for 29 years and was beloved for her kindness, her humor, and the genuine care she showed each student. Even in retirement, she remained a faithful and generous presence in the HNA community.
Above all, she was a woman of deep faith, devoted to God.
Please join us in prayers of thanksgiving for her life. May she rest in peace.
