CHIKIRI & The School of TAIKO did 4 performances in just one day!
After our first show/two performances at Hai! Japantown, we quickly moved over to the West Seattle area.

For our second show at the White Center Block Party, our youth members performed one of the song from "Momotaro" we played at McCoy Hall!

先週の土曜日は一日で２会場・４公演の大忙しの日でした！
シアトルの旧日本町で開催されたHai! Japanown での演奏の後、素早く荷物を積みこみウェストシアトルへ🚙

２公演目はホワイト・センター・ブロックパーティでの２回の演奏。
メンバーは変わって、PNBの”桃太郎”で力強い演奏を届けてくれたユースメンバーに。桃太郎からの曲も取り入れました♬

タイトなスケジュールでしたが、すべて無事に終了して一安心。
観客のみなさんに楽しんでもらっていれば何よりです！

私たちの演奏にお声がけくださって、ありがとうございました！
また来年～💕

We had a wonderful day performing twice at Hai! Japantown - Japantown Seattle last Saturday at Chiyo's Garden♬
Many of our advanced class students made two times powerful and energetic performances that filled the entire stage!
Thank you so much for having us!🥰

シアトルの日本町で毎年開催されている”Hai! Japantown"で演奏してきました♬　アドバンスクラスの生徒さんもたくさん参加して、舞台いっぱいでの力強い演奏となりましたよ。
１２時と１時、２回の演奏共に、ガーデンと外の小道に多くの方が足を運んでくださいました。
太鼓演奏を行ったChiyo's Garden だけでなく、旧日本町一体で開催されたイベントには、終日多くの方が訪れてにぎわってました！
私たちの太鼓演奏にお声がけいただき、ありがとうございました🥰

It was a fantastic day at our third City of Bellevue, Washington - Government - Bellevue International Festival! This festival seems to be getting bigger and better every year! Performers came from 13 different countries. Looking forward to joining again next summer! 🥰

今年で3回目を迎える「ベルビュー・インターナショナル・フェスティバル」！
年々ステージは豪華になり、出展ブースも増え、今年は13カ国もの国々のパフォーマンスが次々と登場しました。回を重ねるごとに見ごたえのあるフェスティバルへと成長していく姿を初年度から見守ることができる機会に恵まれ、感無量です✨

なんと今年の公式ポスターには、太鼓の学校でアシスタントインストラクターを務める若手のホープ・KAIくんのアップの写真が！大太鼓での演奏もがんばりました！

今から来年の夏が待ち遠しいです🥰

We enjoyed our second summer at the Hands-on Children's Museum! It is a wonderful place to play for families, especially kids- great for both hot and rainy days!
All of our members also enjoyed playing and feeling like kids again during our free time.
Thank you for having us, and see you next summer!🥰

子供たちの全天候型遊び場・Hands On Children's Museumで夏のプログラムを届けてきました！

室内にはさまざまな体験ブースがあり、屋外には船もあり、水遊びや砂遊びを楽しんだり、自転車で走り回ることもできます♬
私たちもプログラムの合間の自由時間に館内で子供に帰って遊んできました💕

また来年の夏も、みんなと一緒に太鼓を楽しめますように🥰

Had a wonderful time in Edmonds!
Last Sunday, the weather was amazing under the summer sun, and it was wonderful to see all the participants stand up and dance together!
We will bring an even more FUN program next summer!
Also, some of our students came to cheer us on!
See you then!🥰

夏は市の開催するサマーコンサートでの演奏の機会もいただいております♬
自然の中に遊具が程よく配置され、子どもたちが元気に駆け回れるEdmonds City Park。当日は心地よい太陽の光が降り注ぐ中、たくさんの方が1時間のプログラムに参加してくださいました。なかでも、ほとんどの観客の皆さんが立ち上がって一緒に踊ったソーラン節は、この夏一番の盛り上がりに！
太鼓の学校の生徒さんたちも応援に駆けつけてくれました～

次回はさらに楽しいプログラムをご用意して伺います！
また来年お会いしましょう～！🥰
