What a great first week!!
Dear MMSC and SJM Families,
B”H, what a wonderful first week of school! It has been so special to see our students happy, excited to learn, and enjoying being together with their friends. Our classrooms are already filled with the beautiful sounds of Rosh Hashanah learning and the excitement of a new year.
We are incredibly grateful for our amazing and dedicated staff, who work so hard to give each student an excellent education in a warm, caring, and nurturing environment. Their dedication to every child is truly what makes MMSC and SJM so special.
I also want to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to our dedicated Board. So much of what they do happens behind the scenes, and we are deeply grateful for the tremendous time, energy, and commitment they give to ensure that we can provide this caliber of Jewish education here in Seattle.
This week’s parsha, Nitzavim-Vayeilech, begins with the powerful words, “Atem Nitzavim hayom kulchem”, “You are all standing together today.” As we begin a new school year, this feels especially meaningful. A strong school is built when we stand together, students, teachers, parents, and our community, each person bringing something unique while working toward the same goal of helping our children grow.
Thank you dear parents, for entrusting your precious children into our care. We value the partnership we have with you and are so excited for the year ahead. May it be a year filled with meaningful learning, growth, friendship, and much nachas from each and every one of our students.
Wishing everyone a wonderful Shabbos!
Kesivah Vachasimah Tovah!
Warmly,
Chaya
