On this Memorial Day, we honor the Seattle University alumni who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.
Located in the ROTC office, the Hall of Valor commemorates the lives and service of these alumni while serving as a lasting reminder of courage, leadership and sacrifice for current ROTC cadets. The memorial stands as part of the tradition of the Major General Patrick H. Brady Battalion, named after Seattle University alumnus and Medal of Honor recipient MG (Ret.) Patrick H. Brady, who served in the Republic of Vietnam as a helicopter pilot.
Today, we remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to others.

Cornish alums Alexander Kilian ’23 and Molly Sides ’10 take center stage in Seattle!
Alexander Kilian stars as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar at The 5th Avenue Theatre, a dream for Kilian ever since he started coming to this theatre. After studying musical theatre at Cornish, Kilian credits the program’s working-artist faculty and acting-focused training with preparing him for the professional stage and the rooms he hoped to be in.
Molly Sides, playing Mary Magdalene, describes her time at Cornish as a period of creative discovery, helping shape her path as a performer and songwriter. After graduating, Sides co-founded a Seattle-based rock band and is now bringing her experience into this iconic role.
