Introducing Romane as a new perfumer at our fragrance house! ✨👩‍🔬🎉

Romane is originally from France, but grew up here in the Pacific Northwestern region of the United States. She attended Western Washington University for chemistry and then moved to Rimini, Italy for a Master’s in Cosmetic Chemistry from the Università di Bologna (see second photo!). Through a series of guest lessons with Farotti ( ), a Riminese perfumer, Romane discovered the art of perfumery and the endless possibilities of scent design. With three years of research and development experience in medicinal and cosmetic chemistry, she began at Atelier Madrona in November of 2025 as an intern and is continuing her work while continuing both internal and external perfumery training.
 
In her free time, Romane loves to do her nails, craft, go running, and go to the gym. She loves to travel and has visited over 20 countries.
 
Her all-time favorite fragrances are La Vie est Belle from Lancome, Burberry Her (specifically the Eau de Toilette), and the now-discontinued Flowerbomb Dew by Viktor&Rolf.
