Drew Charness is THE resident Mt. Hood Guide. He's known for his boundless energy and approachable demeanor. Based at the foot of the volcano in Welches, Drew has climbed Wy'East hundreds of times on foot or (preferably) on his snowboard. More than just a mountain athlete, Drew is an exceptional kayaker as well. Aside from his athletic pursuits, he is also an educator and a dad! Drew fills his off-seasons substitute teaching and outdoor educating. He's also a full-time husband and father to 3 kiddos. Thank you Drew for being an essential part of the Kaf team! 🤩
