Playing with some silver and gold tooling today. This is a draft design for an upcoming project. So far so good!

Another happy client! This project was especially impactful for me because I own another copy of the exact book (same edition, same printing). It was surreal to see and such a how to work on. Thankfully, since I’d done it before and my client wanted the same design, I was able to make some improvements. Enjoy!

This project was especially rewarding to do because I own another copy from the same print run! It was so great to see them both together, reunited for the first time since they left the press years ago.

The Story of Siegfried (1882) - Custom Leather Rebinding Restoration of a beloved book. Using a fine morocco for the case and preserving the original artwork with an inlay on the front cover. 18k gold tooling on the spine gives this book a classic, traditional look and feel. Barnes' New National Reader Clamshell Enclosure A custom box made for a treasured family book. Focusing on protection and longevity, this technique allows the family to pursue conservation in the future while preserving it in it's current state, stopping degradation from outside elements.
