I have been witness to some beautiful Black storytelling this week! From Like Fine Wine, Black Joy Over Time Presents: Dr. W. Joye Hardiman's screening at the Seattle Black Film Festival, to Delbert Richardson's story, The Lion Tells It's Tale, Black Folks have been OUT HERE whispering, speaking, shoutin', testifying and spillin' all the tea!

This month in the Joy Corridor, I get to speak with members of my Black Oral Historian Family at the Seattle Black Spatial Histories Intitute about the beauty of Black Stories!

Brooklyn Jamerson-Flowers is a storyteller. At work, her current job title is Lead Storyteller. On the side, she produces We the (Black) People: An American History Podcast and conducts oral histories for the Seattle Black Spatial Histories Institute. When asked who she is uninterrupted she says "In good conversation with good people."
