I have been hesitant to talk about my next project, because I wasn't sure if it would actually come together. I think now its safe to say that it's going to be a real thing! 80% Studios invades the psychedelic dance rave culture!
On the night of June 17th, 2016, 80% Studios unveiled our new black light display at The Underground in downtown Seattle for Fractal Fryday, a monthly Psytrance event put on by Seattle Psy Ops. This marks our first excursion as a comic art studio into the psychedelic dance scene which has inspired our art for so many years. Our aim is to merge our comic book stories with the atmosphere and rhythms of the rave culture in a fresh new way which hasn't been done before. This is the first step.
