We say we want engaged employees.
But do we actually design for it?
If this is true, then most engagement problems aren’t about attitude.
They’re about structure.
So here’s the uncomfortable question:
Are leaders actually willing to:
Share decision-making authority?
Let employees influence how work gets done?
Be experienced as “respectful” in real time, not in intention?
Because without those, morale isn’t a mystery.
It’s predictable.
