I had a dream last night that I was explaining how our bodies are not evolved to constantly be in a state of “nervous system activation”, or in other words, to be under too much conscious and unconscious stress all the time.
It is crucial for our wellness to give our mind + body an opportunity to restore and recharge🔋
So however that looks like to you, give yourself permission for that time. When we take care of our inner journey we can bring healing to so many other people in the world✨

I invite you to see yourself, to see the person who is innately resilient, strong and beautiful.
When you lose sight, when you can’t see yourself, it’s okay. The practice of learning to love yourself unconditionally can open the space for healing and to connect back to a sense of safety within.
Keep going, connect to what brings you joy so that you may share that light and energy with others❤️

When we repress how we feel, what we need, any negative thoughts, anxiety, fear, sadness and so on what is really happening is that we are resisting what is arising within us.
We have to decide that the harmful effects of suppressing our inner experiences, which can include hurting our immune system and setting ourself up to have a build up of negative energy that will manifest in unhealthy ways later on, is not how we want to handle our life.
The process of allowing support into our life, of advocating for our needs, is a life long journey but one that can free us from an unconscious default to deny and betray our own truth.
You deserve connection. You are worthy of being heard. Your inner experiences are valid and are looking to communicate something important🤟🏻
Breathe. Listen. Become curious. Repeat.

If I were to define resiliency this is what I would say: Resiliency is the process of persisting past self-doubt, fear and any inner suffering by focusing on what you can actually control and surrendering to what you cannot.
If you are reading this now, if you are here today, you are a resilient person. Don’t forget to celebrate this quality within yourself❤️ It is something we learn through overcoming hard times and moving forward despite not knowing what the outcome may be.

What if you spent as much time and energy focusing on the outer journey as you did on the inner journey?
The outer journey being:
-What we do in the external world
-Progress towards our goals
-The image we portray to the world about “who we are”
The inner journey being:
-The evolvement of Self
-Improving the way we speak to ourselves
-Self-regulation, mindfulness and conscious awareness
Both are important and both have their role to play in the human experience.
The question remains, what if you paid attention to both with intentionality? What would the impact be on your outer journey if you focused just as much on the journey within?
Take care of your soul. Take care of your Being. Take time to go inward so that it reflects outwardly onto everything you choose to become✨
