Some lessons live in the mouth before they reach the ear.

The Art of Teaching Spanish begins where textbooks end—with the living voice, the singing heart, and the willing body.

For five mornings this July, join Clara Vélez and Ornella Betancourt to explore what awakens when we teach Spanish the Waldorf way. Through song, conversation, and role playing, you will move beyond rote learning into something living.

This course is for new and experienced teachers. It is taught entirely in Spanish. And it might just remind you why you fell in love with teaching this language in the first place.

July 6–10 | 8am–12pm PT | Online

Ever wish for a single book that tells you exactly what and how to teach?

“We should not learn to teach out of any book other than the one lying open before us and consisting of the children themselves.” - Rudolf Steiner

The most essential book is the child in front of you. Learning to "read" the child—through deep observation—is the art at the very heart of the Waldorf curriculum. This practice doesn't just inform your teaching; it cultivates new capacities within you as an educator.

Join us for a profound 3-day professional development course to master this foundational art.

WHERE IS THE BOOK? The Art of Child Observation as the Source of the Curriculum

In this course, we will practice the traditional Waldorf "Child Study" method in three stages:
🔍 Forming a picture of the child
🔍 Enquiring into the causes
🔍 Finding helpful measures

Through practical and artistic work, we’ll immerse ourselves in this transformative practice together.
