I am currently traveling in France with my two kiddos. Country #19 for them. My first time taking them by myself and I will say it’s not easy at times but we are rocking it 💪
We visited two Christmas markets in Strasbourg and Colma. Both are so lovely. Took the train back to Paris and will spend 4 days here. Running on pastries and coffee daily 😆 Paris is purely magical.
I am extremely grateful to you who have supported me over the years. Whether you are a client, a friend or someone who is here sharing the journey and my passion with me. Thank you so much for showing me grace and patience. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I also know that holidays can be hard for various reasons and I see you too 💗 With lots of love, Keala

Family sessions should be like this and feel like this.
I went to their home and we hung out. It was a beautiful fall afternoon with one of my favorite families (my clients are all my favorite families 😍). These kids grew up in front of my lens and the love and the laughter they all share with each other is so contagious 😍

Come to your family session with an open mind and ready to be present. This is the most important tip for any families that want a successful family session.
I have another level of admiration for these two amazing parents. They have 3 littles - two toddlers aged 3, 2 and a baby boy who was 4 months old! This session turned out to be spectacular because they did just that. They laughed and played, hugged and snuggled.
Can we also talk about how beautiful their family is and how well mom dressed everyone? it’s truly my honor to document these for you!

Hi beautiful people, Happy October! Today I am celebrating 4 years in photography business. I decided to do a special post on here since I don’t think I had done it in a long time.
My name is Keala and I am the face behind Dream Catcher’s Pictures. I am happily married and a mom of two girls who are my world.
It seems like these 4 years had just flown by. Unlike many photographers who have a long family history with cameras or some who have gone to school in photography/art, I am from a completely different background. My degrees are in mathematics and statistics and I was working in medical research field before all this happened. When the pandemic hit, I decided to learn how to use a camera and take good photos of my kids. I fell in love, quickly. A few months later, my small business was born. One thing that I never could have imagined is where it is at today.
My clients, all of you, I am so so grateful to you. The relationship and trust we have built along the way is probably what I love most about doing what I do. In these 4 years I have some families that I have photographed 5 times, 7 times… it’s crazy! I never take that for granted and I vow to always give my best.
This past weekend I got to photograph 3 families and they are all repeat clients who truly feel like friends now.
I made a few photography friends along this journey! Because most of us work alone, sometimes it does feel lonely but these amazing ladies have made it so much better and fun. In any world the relationship that’s built upon mutual trust and selflessness is rare, let alone in this industry. I really appreciate them!
Lastly, I am super proud of myself. Truly. I am fully aware that I am lucky but I also don’t want to diminish my hardworking days and long nights. I hustled a lot and I still do!
I can’t wait to see how the next year unfolds. Thank you for letting me share my passion and riding the journey with me! 💗
