This past year has been challenging for many of us - I know for me it was, BIG time.
While I breezed through 2020 and lockdown and everything related completely unscathed, 2021 brought me into unknown territory: I began to question everything, I lost my optimism, I let 'feeling stressed out all the time' and worrying get the best of me. Not great for a mindset coach, you might think to yourself, and I would have to agree. That nagging negative voice in my head backed me even deeper into my dark corner. Most of all, I lost sight of all that is good in my life. To me, that was very unfamiliar and I felt like I had lost my way.
I realized that I needed to step on the brakes and take some much-needed time to figure out my next steps. I worked with fewer clients, rested a lot, binge-watched all 13 seasons of Heartland on Netflix, focused on my family and allowed myself to feel, to think, to be okay again with not knowing...anything.
Now, after several months in my little hole underground, I feel like I've begun to sprout again. My tendrils haven't broken through the surface just yet, but I trust that once they do and sunlight hits them, there is no stopping this new growth.
I cannot wait to see which blossoms and fruit will develop. And I want to say 'Thank you' from the bottom of my heart to all of you who stuck with me, reminded me of my essence, and nurtured the little seedling inside of me.
You know who you are. ❤
A Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, wherever you may be!!!
If you've been struggling to get your groove back...
