So excited that the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning featured the South Seattle College Multi-Occupation in Engineering & Technology program for its impact on adult learners by using academic credit for prior learning to accelerate and advance equitable degree completion!

How Prior Learning Can Help Students Accelerate Into the Future of Work Learn how South Seattle College uses CPL to accelerate education and career pathways for adult learners.

The MOET program partnered with Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC) ACPL workgroup and CAEL to advance equitable degree acceleration and completion for adult learners.

This presentation will provide strategies, including an ACPL toolkit and logic model to build support on an institutional and state level.

The presentation will take place on Wednesday, November 16th from 1:40-2:30 CST.

Two students in the MOET program were able to participate in the American Association of Community College/National Science Foundation's Advanced Technological Education PI conference in Washington DC.

Their capstone project for the program will be used by the students in the Sustainable Building Science Technology BAS program at South.
