God would not have commanded us to rightly divide the word of truth if the word of truth did not have natural or simple divisions. That 90% of all other versions change the word study and the phrase "rightly dividing the word of truth" means that someone doesn't want believers to do it. That majority of professing Christians are turned off by right division is proof that they have succeeded.

In this study, we look into the Who, the What, and the Where in God's dealings in the whole Bible. The devil, when he tried to tempt Jesus in the wilderness used Bible doctrine against Jesus. It is important to be Biblical. It is important to be doctrinal. Those two, however, are not enough. We need to rightly divide the word of truth.

IV. Game - Red Light, Green Light (optional materials - a lamb stuffed toy)
A. The child/children are lined up in the far end of the room or field
B. The teacher says green light and the child/children start walking or running toward the teacher to grab the lamb toy or give the teacher a high five. First one to the teacher wins a prize. Those who are found moving every time the teacher shouts "red light" sits this turn out.
C. The object is to not get distracted and not to look behind.

C. Whoever looks back at the teacher gets a sq**rt gun shot or gets gently hit by the balloon or the ball and they sit the round out.
D. Last one standing gets a prize

B. Say some true statements and some untrue statements (my hair is pink. an elephant is small, Jesus Died for us, was buried and rose again) then have child/children run and line up uafter the true or false sign depending on the statement.
C. The objective is to teach child/children about telling the truth.

People who talk misquote Ephesians 2:10 and use it to try to prove that we need to work for our salvation many times do not understand Ephesians chapter 2 in its entirety. Many do not understand the book of Ephesians either! They hear some teacher say misquote Ephesians 2:10 and parrot it without studying the text! In this Bible Study, we look at three arguments that show that Ephesians 2:10 is talking about something else and that Salvation in our time is by grace through faith and that we do not need to do any good works.

IV. Game
A. Variation 1 - (one child / many children - ages 4 and up) Print and cut out the memory verse in English and have the child piece it together to form the verse. Then Print each word in different languages and have the child try to form the verse. This is also a good object lesson on how having the King James Bible helps us to be in one mind. I know that different languages goes into the subject of translations but this is just a simple object lesson about how difficult it is for people with different bibles to be of one mind.
B. Variation 2 - (Many children) Give children their own own word of the verse in English. Jumble them up and then have them line themselves up in order to spell out the memory verse. Do the same in different languages. Give each child a word or phrase in a different language and in five minutes have them try to complete the memory verse as much as they can. Once they think they are doing, have them raise their hand and keep telling them if they are wrong, close or correct.

Remember that when the devil tempted Jesus in the wilderness he used the Bible. All "Christian" religions and cults have bible verses that they stand on but they do not arrive at the same conclusion.

The next excuse is typically, "Well, it all depends on how man interprets it." Then what is the point of saying that the Bible is your final authority when really, the authority is your own interpretation or your own self?

In this study we look at why right division was commanded to the Body of Christ only. We look at some examples showing that bible doctrines that are not applicable to our time become doctrines of devils when insisted or jammed into our dispensation. Finally, we look into a question that would serve as an example of the confusion that arise when one does not rightly divide the word of truth.

C. Another game: Hide "Olive Branch" treats in the room and ask the little child / children to be a dove and find the olive branches.
