Our mother‘s instinct is more than just a preference! It is Science! Our instincts for our children is not over bearing, it’s how we are built. I refuse to make excuses for being a mom that is willing to bend over backwards to support my children. I am committed to being loud and proud about my ability to feel when something is good and my child is happy vs that git wrong.

The less busy I am, the less child exploitation, and domestic abuse is happening! Unfortunately, I’m very busy! Let’s work together to turn the tides and prioritize child safety and allow victims to leave the abuser without being forced into constant communication with them. No one wants to do this life alone, imagine how awful it must’ve been with the abuser for you to leave! To suggest someone is lying about abuse is unlikely (2%). That person lost all that they’ve been setting their heart on. No more family forever, no more combine birthday parties or two parents at every wedding, etc. etc (in domestic abuse cases). Domestic abuse is hard to explain, that’s because if you haven’t experienced it, then you’re really just guessing. Because unfortunately, if you know… You know. 14 cases spanning more than a decade. His history includes convictions for felony larceny, robbery with a dangerous weapon and communicating threats—leading to a six-year prison sentence in 2015.

If you disrupt a sea turtle next you could get 5 years in prison!

Let’s come up with laws who punish judges. How about that? Let’s come up with laws holding judges responsible for allowing people like this walk free.

On March 29, I joined the Safe Childhood Now Rally at the Washington State Capitol to fight for stronger child safety laws in family court. Right now, too many kids are being forced into dangerous custody arrangements because the system ignores abuse. Survivors, advocates, and families came together to demand change.

HB 1620 was written by judges and ignored best practice child safety models. We fought for ESHB 1620 instead—the version that actually protects kids.

We’re pushing for ESHB 1620—a bill that prioritizes protecting children from abusers.

We heard devastating stories of kids and parents failed by the system—stories that should never happen again. This fight isn’t over. If we keep raising our voices, we will make a difference. 💜
