The Wood Technology Center is very much in danger of being shut down permanently. If you are interested in showing your support for the Wood Technology Center, I am looking for help setting up a student and alumni run SAVEWTC website (similar to savesca.com created by the culinary institute). This would be a place for supporters to sign a petition, take action, learn about budget events, and how to communicate with local and state government. We need to share current, perspective, and past student voices with the greater community. We need to show the value it holds in regards to equal opportunity education and developing a skilled labor force for the city of Seattle and the state of Washington and beyond.
