(Via Instagram) 📚we can never go wrong with any type of earth or animal science with the boys and this is their favorite picture for lessons this week.
they love the owl video as well on our website, and we looked up more pics of different varieties + came up with this one via .dinerman ✍🏾
❄️fact : did you know that the eastern screech owl is a master of disguise?
its tan, grey + white coloring blends in seamlessly with the bark of many trees making it practically disappear when it “hides” in the trees’ cavities.
❄️it also has some cool feathers sticking up from its head which breaks its outline, making it harder to see.

❄️now there is one extra homeschooling publisher in our home who wants to go hunting for an eastern screech owl...I’m wondering which parts of the states this would be in or even if it’s in Europe so that’s something you guys can check out too + let us know what you find.❣️
