Happy New Year to All.
I was looking through some old pictures today and found these. A reminder to all that our time with friends, (and family) is not guaranteed. I hope that the new year brings us good health, prosperity, and fulfillment. And we take the time to remember those we have lost, and reconnect with those we have treasured, while we still have the chance. Best wishes and Happy New Year

Some have said the Class of 72 Rocks. They speak the truth. What class surpassed our Spruce Run Epic Celebration? I am still recovering from that party.

Our 50 Year Reunion was a great success. Thank you to all of you that made this past weekend one to remember, including all who attended.

HEADS UP EVERYBODY!! BE SURE TO GIVE YOURSELF EXTRA TIME TO TRAVEL THROUGH TOWN. USE WAHANNA RD. OR HOLLADAY AS ALTERNATES.

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) will work to repair the traffic signals at the intersection of US Highway 101 and Broadway in Seaside Friday, August 19 through Sunday, August 21. During this time, Broadway east from 101 to S. Lincoln will be closed to stage equipment. ODOT flaggers will direct traffic flow on Broadway west and 101 north and south.
Work begins at 7 a.m. on Friday and will continue until 5 p.m. each day through Sunday evening, or until the work is complete. This repair project includes a full closure of 101 for approximately 5 minutes on Saturday, August 20, while crews hang a new traffic signal span. Although ODOT seeks to minimize disruptions, expect some delays.
Southbound 101 traffic may access the welcome center, public restrooms, and public parking through the parking lot entrance across from 1st Avenue. City Hall may be accessed via Avenue A after the closed intersection. Northbound traffic may access city buildings and services directly off 101.
While the Broadway/101 intersection is within city limits, US Highway 101 - or Roosevelt, as it is named in Seaside - is managed by ODOT, including oversight of the operation and maintenance of traffic signals along the main thoroughfare through Seaside.

The Seaside High Class of 1972 would like to extend an invitation to all Seaside High Alumni to join us in celebrating our 50-year reunion on the weekend of August 19-21, 2022. We would especially like to see classmates from '69, '70, '71,'73,'74 and '75, but all alumni are welcome. This three-day event, for the most part will be paid for (for class of '72 alumni, their guest and contributing sponsors) through sponsorship donations from local businesses and private persons. For all other classes we will gratefully be accepting a $20, per person donation. which will be all inclusive (food, beverages, entertainment and good old friends). All donations in excess of actual costs will be donated to a local Seaside charity fund of the Class of '72's choice.

Friday August 19, 2022
4:00-8:00 p.m.
Warm up event at The Relief Pitcher. 2795 S. Roosevelt Drive. This event is sponsored by our own Mike McClure and is no host bar w/ free hors devours and clam chowder. Mike will be closing down to the general public for our private event!

Saturday August 20, 2022
9:30 a.m.
We have arranged for a tour of the new high school, 2600 Spruce Drive. High School Counselor Travis Cave has graciously offered to donate his time to open up the school for this tour. It is imperative that you be there by 9:15 am and meet in the parking lot on the EAST side of the school. If you arrive after the tour starts, at 9:30, you will not get in, as the doors will be on lock down.

4:00-6:00 pm
Reunion Bash Main Event at Sons of Norway. This time slot is for Class of 1972 Alumni, their guest and our local sponsors only to arrive for cocktail hour and dinner. You can start arriving as early as 3:00pm.

6:00-7:30 p.m.
All other alumni will be welcomed in for food, drinks, entertainment and great friends!! Remember to bring cash to cover your $20 per person donation.

7:30-10:30 p.m.

Feel free to kick up your heels!!

Farewell breakfast at our Reunion House 1039 N. Marion Ave. in Gearhart for '72 alums, their guest and sponsors.

Be sure to let all of our volunteers (tour guide, bartenders, band, clean up crew) know how much $$ you appreciate them taking the time out of their busy schedules to make our reunion special.

Dates are Confirmed! Reunion Is On!
Greetings Mates!
We are excited to announce that the Class of 1972 will be holding an all-class reunion to celebrate our 50 year anniversary.
Details are being finalized now, but it will be a 3-day event, Friday August 19th through August 21st. in Seaside and Gearhart.
It will be open to all classes, and will be a family friendly event.
Weston is playing Lead on this one and is welcoming and encouraging volunteers to make this the best reunion ever. Chuck is on Drums, and Roger is banging the Cymbals. Susan is now in as the Choir Director!, Need to fill out the band, Step up!
Looking forward to seeing everyone and making this, "The Social Event of The Clam Season"!
