Intense Language Training Center intensive language training, private tutoring, group classes, perfect for travel, home school, societies, learn a language for personal enrichment.

We can work one on one or in groups. All sessions are tailored to your learning needs and designed to teach you how to use the language. It still requires work and dedication outside of the classroom to move what you've learned from short-term to long-term parking, but you will be able to do all of the activities by the end of each session.

I am available to teach Wednesday night classes from 6:15pm and 8pm at the Seaside American Legion if anyone is interested in learning Spanish or Danish for the summer. Please call and leave a message. I will get back to you as soon as I am able.

Happy Mother's Day! I haven't made any posts since the beginning of the year, but I have been staying busy with my multiple jobs, volunteering and the occasional language student. Most of my students have been learning Spanish, a few Italian, a few Finnish, and the occasional English as a second language. I don't currently have signs up at the studio, but I am still around and intend to continue holding classes there through the end of 2015.

This year is the catalyst to kick-starting the rest of your life. If you want to travel, if you've been wanting to learn a new language, and you're ready to start experiencing more of this world, now is the time to make it happen.
Learning languages and being able to travel are two very affordable things. If you put your mind to it, it is all possible. This year, instead of hoping something good will happen, let's make it happen!

First Spanish class will meet on the dance floor at the Seaside American Legion at 5:30 this Thursday. There is a Logger dinner/meeting going on this week, so don't get lost in that crowd. Come to the second set of doors and get buzzed in. The bar tender will direct you to the dance floor. Talk to your friends about joining this class. I do allow for make up sessions if you are unable to make all the Thursdays and Sundays.

Next Intensive Spanish language class to start at 5:30pm on October 9, 2014 at the Seaside American Legion. The class will last for 4 weeks, twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays from 5:30pm to 7pm. Cost will be $125/person which works out to roughly $10/hr based on 1-1/2 hour sessions.
Necessary study materials included for each session, but additional reference materials also available for purchase. Cash, checks and major credit cards accepted.

I would like to thank everyone who came to the opening night this Friday and to those who attended my free intro sessions for French and Spanish language. Just as a reminder, it is not too late to sign up for the intensive 4 week Spanish class being held at the Seaside American from 5:30pm - 7pm Tuesdays and Fridays. First class is this Tuesday, February 4th and the last will be February 28th. Always grateful for the support of this community. Credit cards accepted! :)

Grand Opening Weekend January 31 – February 2.

You are invited to a Grand Opening party on Friday, January 31, 2014.

The event will be held in the new Seaside Yoga and InTense Language Training Center, located at 609 Broadway in the Historic Gilbert District of downtown Seaside.

There will be hors d’hoeuvres and refreshments, door prizes and a chance to sign up for free intro classes in either French or Spanish. Free classes will be Saturday and Sunday open to the first 12 to sign up for each session. Fill out an interest survey and you will have a chance to win a certificate good for a 4-week class or 8 drop-in sessions.

As I am sharing space with Seaside Yoga Retreats, Kristin Tschannen will also be offering free yoga classes on Saturday (Feb 1) and Sunday (Feb 2) as well.

Here’s your chance to experience yoga and language in one space and find out what we’re about! Course sign ups, gift certificates and some merchandise will be available for purchase. Hope to see you there!
