Dual Language Academy of the Monterey Peninsula DLAMP will prepare students to meet the challenges of an interdependent world community by providing a bilingual multicultural learning environment.

The Dual Language Academy of the Monterey Peninsula will work to be nationally recognized as a model for academic excellence which promotes high academic achievement in two languages and develops cross-cultural awareness for students. The Dual Language Academy will nurture a vibrant K-8 learning community in which students from diverse backgrounds speak, read, and write in both Spanish and English

and thrive on collaboration among students, staff, parents and the wider community. Committed to continual improvement, The Dual Language Academy will prepare students with exceptional language skills and an expanded worldview, both of which can offer greater opportunities in secondary and higher education, the work world, and their everyday lives.

🌟 Conozca al Personal de TK y Kindergarten

We are excited to invite all incoming Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten students and their families to our Meet & Greet!

¡Nos complace invitar a todos los estudiantes que ingresan a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) y Kindergarten, junto con sus familias, a nuestro evento para conocer al personal!

During this special event, families will have the opportunity to:

* Meet our TK & Kindergarten teachers.
* Meet our Program Specialist, Mrs. Quade, and Principal Burks.
* Tour our school campus.
* Visit the TK and Kindergarten classrooms.
* Ask questions and begin building connections before the first day of school.

Durante este evento especial, las familias tendrán la oportunidad de:

* Conocer a nuestros maestros de TK y Kindergarten.

Starting Monday, May 4, there will be traffic impacts at Gen Jim Moore Blvd & Lightfighter Dr:
🔹 Southbound turn lane from CSUMB will be closed
🔹 Median traffic signal will be temporarily removed
Expect delays and changes to your usual route—especially during peak hours. Give yourself a little extra time and move with intention.
We’re making improvements to keep Seaside moving forward—and we appreciate your patience while we get there. 💙

A partir del lunes 4 de mayo, habrá afectaciones al tráfico en el cruce de Gen Jim Moore Blvd y Lightfighter Dr:
🔹 El carril de giro hacia el sur (proveniente de CSUMB) permanecerá cerrado.
🔹 El semáforo ubicado en la mediana será retirado temporalmente.
