🌱👩‍🎓 Get ready to dig into the future and Spring into action, students! Our small school's extracurricular scene is blooming with hands-on learning. We are trading pencils for spades, digging deep into gardening and mastering water-saving tricks that even cacti would envy. Outdoor education has never been this spiritually uplifting (and muddy). Small school, big fun with extracurricular outdoor education that's all hands-on. Lettuce celebrate growth in all its forms! 🥕💦

🌟 We had an amazing time at the Peninsula Adventist School Open House at 1025 Mescal St, Seaside, CA! 🎉 It was wonderful to see families, students, and community members come together to explore our Christ-centered learning environment, meet our dedicated teachers, and experience the warmth of our school community.

From engaging classroom tours to inspiring conversations about faith and education, the event was truly a blessing! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make this day so special. We can’t wait to keep fulfilling our mission of providing quality Christian education.

Frederick Douglass, died 130 years ago on this date, February 20th. Don’t miss his quotes at the end! 👌Such an American Hero! 👑
1. He secretly taught himself to read and write despite laws prohibiting enslaved people from learning.

2. At age 20 he escaped slavery by dressing as a sailor and traveling by train and steamboat to freedom in the North.

3. He worked closely with Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War and later advised Presidents Andrew Johnson and Ulysses S. Grant on civil rights issues. After Douglass attended Lincoln’s second inaugural reception, Lincoln asked for his opinion on the speech, telling him: “There is no man in the country whose opinion I value more than yours.”

4. After his first wife passed away, Douglass married a Caucasian woman, Helen Pitts, causing controversy but standing as a testament to his belief in equality.
