To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing you on behalf of Imagine College at Seaside High School. Imagine College provides college readiness services to the Seaside High School community and the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District (MPUSD). Imagine College's primary goal is to support students and their families as they work to make the "dream of a college education a reality."

Imagine College has had the honor to serve Seaside High School for the past eight years. Together with our parents, students, school family, and community, we have helped create opportunities for students to experience college and succeed in higher education. One of our main contributions to this campus involves the facilitation of an afterschool Homework Center. The Homework Center is a quiet place for students to complete homework assignments, study for exams, collaborate on group projects, or work with one of our many tutors. This center provides an excellent opportunity for students to get in the mindset of college by forming study skills, learning how to work efficiently and effectively in a group, and recognizing the importance of peer mentoring and tutoring.

Starting this year, we would like to reward the students who regularly attend our Homework Center. As a part of our reward program, we would love for students to truly imagine college. With this goal in mind, we’re rolling out a new program initiative we’re calling “T’s for Teen Scholars”. T’s for Teen Scholars is a unique reward opportunity where we ask successful working professionals to donate a t-shirt from their alma mater along with a letter about their college experience to Imagine College. This generous donation serves as an exceptional reward for our diligent attendees in the Homework Center; opening their eyes to the possibility of a college education at your alma mater. Please take a moment to consider partaking in this unique reward opportunity. Your donation will be greatly appreciated.
