📢 Mate Positions Available – 100’ Yacht

Starting in October, BOATíque Marine Services is looking for two Mates to join the crew of a 100-foot yacht for approximately 2 months.

📍 Base: Between Fort Lauderdale and Miami
📅 Events: The yacht will attend the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
⚓️ Opportunity: If there is a good fit with the crew and the ownership, there is the possibility of a permanent full-time contract after the initial period.

✅ Requirements:
• Previous experience as Mate on yachts
• Strong seamanship and teamwork skills
• Valid maritime certifications (if applicable)
• B1/B2 Visa, Green Card, or U.S. Citizenship (mandatory)

Risks & Consequences of Illegal Charters

Illegal charter operations pose a significant risk to the safety of their passengers, their crew and the maritime community. Illegal charters often lack the necessary safety equipment and may not meet the same safety standards as legal charters putting people at risk.

If the Coast Guard terminates the voyage of an illegal charter operation, then payment made by passengers could potentially be lost. 💸

Keep yourself safe and don’t waste your time or money on an illegal charter. Ensure your captain has a valid U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner credential before you pay for a boat ride.
