Today, we pause to say thank you to the people who work hard to build, serve, teach, provide, protect, create, lead, and care for others.

At Searcy Christian Academy, we’re especially grateful for the many people whose faithful work makes our school and our community stronger—from teachers and staff to parents, first responders, business owners, tradespeople, healthcare workers, and so many others.

Scripture reminds us, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

May we never take for granted the dignity of honest work, the people who do it, or the God who gives us the strength and opportunity to serve.

Happy Labor Day! Take some time today to rest, enjoy your people, and give thanks for the work God has entrusted to you.

Calling all hunters, fishers, outdoor enthusiasts—and anyone who loves supporting Christian education! One of SCA’s most anticipated fundraisers is coming soon, and we are getting ready for another exciting year!

Here’s what makes this fundraiser so much fun: only 500 tickets will be sold, and every ticket stays in the running for every single drawing. That means if your ticket is drawn as a winner for one prize, it goes right back into the drawing pool for another chance to win!

For 12 years, this fundraiser has brought together our school community and supporters for a fun way to win some incredible prizes while investing in the mission of Searcy Christian Academy.

A school is so much more than four walls. It becomes a place where children are encouraged, challenged, comforted, celebrated, and loved.

To our teachers: thank you for pouring your hearts into every detail. Your work is already making a difference, even before the students arrive. (I mean just look at these beautiful spaces ready for learning and love! ✏️ 💕)

Today we're excited to introduce someone who is joining us from across the globe!

Meet Sara, our intern teacher from Spain. This year, Sara will be growing her professional teaching skills while serving alongside our faculty and becoming part of the Searcy Christian Academy family.

More than that, she'll bring a global perspective to our classrooms, sharing her culture, language, traditions, and experiences with our students. We know this unique opportunity will enrich our school community while giving Sara meaningful, hands-on experience as an educator.

We're honored she chose to spend this season with us, and we can't wait for you to welcome her to SCA!
