ASU-Beebe Computerized Machining Technology The Computerized Machining Technology Program is a part of the Career Education Division of ASUB Students can earn a technical certificate after one year.

Computerized Machining Technology is designed to help the student build valuable skills for one of today’s most appealing and dependable trades. The program is designed to teach the combination of CAD, CAD/CAM, and machining. Training focuses on working with manual and computer numerical control (CNC) machines making tools, dies, molds, and other objects using high-tech milling and lathe equipment

. Students will also gain experience with laser engravers, CNC plasma machines, die presses, surface grinders, 3d printers, and EDM machines. These skills will be enhanced by using computer-aided drafting (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software such as MasterCAM, Solidworks, and CorelDraw. Students can then continue with the advanced classes and earn an associate’s degree in applied science. ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE
