ASU-Beebe recently accepted a generous $10,000 contribution from Stallion Transportation Group in support of the college's upcoming 2026-2027 Performing Arts Series!

Butch Rice, owner and CEO of Stallion Transportation, along with his sons C**t and Garland, stopped by campus to present the generous gift in to ASU-Beebe leadership and students.

This recognition honors Dr. Wiedmaier’s outstanding contributions to career and technical education and her continued dedication to preparing students for success in the workforce.

Since 2019, Dr. Wiedmaier has helped lead career education programs across fields such as agriculture, business, computer information systems, criminal justice, automotive technology, diesel technology, HVACR, industrial technology, welding, and more.

ASU-Beebe is grateful to the Butch Rice family for their generous gift to endow the Chuck Wisdom Jr. Agricultural Heritage Scholarship, ensuring that Chuck Wisdom’s passion for agriculture and dedication to students will continue to impact future generations.

Wisdom served ASU-Beebe for nearly three decades as an agriculture faculty member, mentor, and leader, helping students learn through hands-on experiences on the ASU-Beebe farm. His influence reached far beyond the classroom, shaping students, families, and communities across Arkansas.

Through this endowed scholarship, ASU-Beebe agriculture students will continue to benefit from the legacy of a man who devoted his life to service, hard work, and helping others grow.
