We couldn’t be more proud of our CFIT alumni!

This photo was taken on a Johnson & Johnson President’s Club trip—and every person in it is a CFIT graduate. That’s right, six CFIT alumni earned one of the highest honors in the industry through their hard work, leadership, and commitment to excellence.

Seeing our graduates succeed at the highest levels is exactly why CFIT exists. Their accomplishments are a testament to what happens when passion, preparation, and purpose come together.

Congratulations to these outstanding professionals. You’re representing CFIT well, and we’re honored to be part of your journey.

Today, we’re celebrating the fathers of CFIT —Tristan Pendergrass, Todd Watson, and Ken Turley.

While we’re grateful for all they do for our students, today is about something even more important: family. Thank you for being faithful fathers, role models, and leaders in your homes. The love, dedication, and values you invest in your families are an inspiration to all of us.

From the CFIT family to yours, Happy Father’s Day!

Today, we honor Juneteenth—a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and hope.

As we reflect on this important moment in history, we are reminded that every person is created with purpose and value. At CFIT, we are grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and serve alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds who strengthen our community and our profession.

“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” – 2 Corinthians 3:17

What’s the difference between CFIT and CFIT-Pro?

Both programs lead to a Master’s degree in Cardiac Function & Interventional Technology and prepare students for careers in the cardiac device industry, but they’re designed for different audiences.

CFIT is our on-campus program for students looking to launch a career in cardiac rhythm management and electrophysiology. CFIT-Pro is designed for working professionals who want to advance their careers through a flexible online format.

Whether you’re starting your career or taking the next step in it, there’s a CFIT pathway designed for you.

Meet CFIT-Pro graduate Collier Blackburn.

As a working cardiac professional, Collier chose CFIT-Pro to continue advancing his knowledge while remaining active in the field. He shares how earning his Master of Science in Cardiac Function and Interventional Technology expanded his knowledge, strengthened his skills, and helped prepare him for future opportunities.

CFIT-Pro is a primarily online, part-time master’s degree pathway created specifically for professionals with cardiac device or cardiac patient care experience who are ready to take the next step in their careers.

It’s the final day of the National ACSM Conference and CFIT has enjoyed connecting with exercise science students and professors from across the country.

An exercise science background is a natural fit for the CFIT program. The strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, exercise testing, and human performance prepares students to transition into advanced cardiac education and careers in the cardiac field.

We’ve loved sharing how CFIT helps students take the next step toward earning their master’s degree while preparing for a specialized career working with the heart.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about CFIT throughout the conference.

Day 2 at the National ACSM Conference and CFIT is ready.

Ready to connect with future students, ready to share opportunities in the cardiac field, and ready to represent the next generation of cardiac education.

From conversations on the conference floor to meeting professionals from across the country, we’re excited to showcase what CFIT has to offer.

Let’s make Day 2 a great one.
