MISSION STATEMENT:
Trinity Lutheran Preschool is a ministry to families. Our purpose is to have interaction among students, and between students and teachers, that prepare children for a lifetime of learning. We want them to learn of and experience the love of Jesus in a school dedicated to seeking His will! GOALS:
Trinity Lutheran Preschool Program goals for the children include: growing in unde
rstanding of God and His care, developing a positive self-image and building relationships with others, learning and developing an appreciation for art, music, poems, and books, and learning by doing, observing, and experimenting. OUR PURPOSE
• To provide caring educational atmosphere for teaching God’s Word by nurturing faith in Christ where preschoolers can grow in love and self-discipline.
• To provide opportunities for preschoolers, parents, and teachers to learn of and to experience the love of Jesus in a school dedicated to seeking His will as it relates to their everyday living.
• To prepare preschoolers as they grow to serve God in church, with the community, and the nation.
• To provide an educational program of solid academic excellence to challenge, train, and prepare preschoolers for a productive life.
• To provide moral standards based on God’s Word and see that such standards govern even the most practical decisions and responsibilities.
• Expressing love through acts of kindness to others in the community and throughout the world.
• Developing communication skills to live and relate to others.
• Respecting all authority as a God-given aspect of life and acting responsively as a member of God’s family. PHILOSOPHY: The Philosophy of Trinity Lutheran Preschool includes:
• Recognizing each child as a precious gift from God – each with individual faith, talents, interest, and abilities;
• To bring each child the message of a personal, saving Faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ;
• To nurture children’s faith by allowing them to experience Christ in all aspects of their daily lives;
• To teach children to share the Gospel with those around them in a simple way;
• To aid children in developing relationships, as well as in problem solving by using Biblical truths and principles;
• To provide a Christ-centered, developmentally and age appropriate curriculum that centers on the development of the whole person – Spiritually, Emotionally, Socially, and Cognitively;
• To provide Christian guidance and supervision by loving, caring, experienced, and qualified staff;
• To support and strengthen the family through outreach by means of education, Bible study, and congregational involvement;
Trinity Lutheran Preschool is committed to Christian education. Our Christian Preschool is an extension of the mission and ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church. Through the school we reach the younger children of our community, teaching them in a spiritual environment. We teach them how to use the Bible, God’s word for development of their faith, for a guide in life, and as a primary evangelism tool.
