🚗🚦 SAFE DRIVING STARTS WITH SMART DECISIONS! 🚦🚗

Students in Mr. Long’s Health class experienced an eye-opening lesson on the dangers of impaired driving! 👀

Using various sobriety simulation goggles, students were able to experience how different substances can affect vision, coordination, balance, and judgment.

This hands-on activity helped students better understand just how dangerous it can be to operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other substances. 🚫🚘

👏 A huge shoutout to Mr. Long for creating an engaging learning experience that goes beyond the textbook and teaches valuable, potentially lifesaving lessons!

Behind every great school are amazing people who keep everything running smoothly, and Russell County High School is blessed with two of the BEST!

Today, we want to give a special shoutout to our fabulous school secretary and attendance clerk! 🌟

These ladies wear many hats, handle countless responsibilities, and somehow manage to do it all with a smile! From answering phones and assisting parents to keeping up with attendance and supporting our students and staff, they truly help keep RCHS moving forward every single day!

We appreciate their hard work, dedication, positive attitudes, and the love they show our Warrior family!

Coaching is about so much more than wins and losses. It is about building character, teaching discipline, encouraging teamwork, and preparing our students for success both on and off the field or court.

🔬🧪 SCIENCE IN ACTION AT RCHS! 🧪🔬

Our Russell County High School Warriors are putting science to the test through exciting, hands-on learning experiences! 🥼✨

🧪 Physical Science: Students explored the fascinating world of acids and bases during an introductory lab! Using indicators, students determined pH levels while gaining a better understanding of the chemical properties of different substances.

⚙️ Honors Physics: Students took their learning to the next level by conducting an experiment to determine the coefficient of friction between an aluminum surface and felt. Through investigation, measurement, and analysis, students applied physics concepts to real-world situations!

👏 We love seeing our Warriors actively engaged in learning, asking questions, thinking critically, and discovering how science connects to the world around them!

Our future automotive technicians are hard at work in Mr. Saxon’s Automotive Technology class!

Students recently gained valuable real-world experience by changing out a transfer case output shaft seal on a Toyota pickup truck! 🔩🚘

At Russell County High School, we believe some of the best learning happens when students roll up their sleeves and put their classroom knowledge into action! These hands-on experiences help students develop technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence as they prepare for future careers in the automotive industry.
