We are so thankful for Freedom Farm.

After a five-week holiday, Freedom Project is officially back and we couldn’t be more excited!

Our first day was full of smiles, laughter, and sweet reunions as we jumped right back into farm life. On Fridays we have four new students joining us and we’re also introducing two brand-new adventures: cooking and art, and the kids are already loving them!

We’re also grateful to welcome three new volunteers who are joining us for farm days. We’re so thankful for each person who makes farm days possible!

Our spectacular counselors are hard at work preparing for RCMS Career Day on February 27th, and we could not be more excited! This event is all about giving our students an enriched, real-world learning experience by exposing them to the many career opportunities right here in our community.

✨ RCMS 8th Grade Love Like Lexi Project ✨

Today, our 8th grade students participated in the Love Like Lexi project, an inspiring and powerful initiative dedicated to spreading kindness, compassion, and the reminder that every life has purpose and meaning. Through Lexi’s story, our students reflected on the importance of empathy, connection, and looking out for one another.

A heartfelt thank you to the Love Like Lexi organization, and a very special thank you to Andrea Mills, Lexi’s mother, for sharing Lexi’s story and providing RCMS with this powerful opportunity. We are also grateful for all of the incredible volunteers from across our community who came together to pour into our students and staff. Your time, support, and willingness to share this message truly made an impact.

At RCMS, we believe that every student matters and today was a meaningful reminder that your life has significance.
