This week at Closing the Gap Learning Center, our young readers are mastering the “-at” word blends — and they’re on a roll! From cat to hat, mat to bat, we’re blending sounds and building confidence one word at a time.

Phonics is the foundation, and we’re making it fun, hands-on, and full of proud moments. Our little learners are clapping out sounds, matching pictures, and even creating their own “-at” word books!

Even while I’m away, the kiddos at Closing the Gap Learning Center are still learning, growing, and thriving!

This week, our little learners are diving into single-digit math — using hands-on activities to explore numbers, counting, and early addition. Whether it’s sorting toys, counting snacks, or singing number songs, we make math fun and meaningful for ages 3–5.
