🌟 Girls on the Run is coming BACK to Sussex Montessori! 🌟

We’re excited to welcome girls to this fun and empowering program designed to build confidence, develop powerful life skills, and encourage girls to take on challenges alongside their teammates.

⏰ 3:30–4:45 PM
📆 Season begins the week of September 28

And we’re BACK! 📚🖍️✏️📓

After a summer away, it feels so good to see our classrooms filled with busy hands, curious minds, and familiar smiles. And just like that, our learners stepped right back into their Montessori environments and got to work with their materials as if they never left!

A special THANK YOU to the City of Seaford for starting our learner’s year off RIGHT! 🙌

In observance of Labor Day, Sussex Montessori will be closed for students on Friday, September 4th, and Monday, September 7th.

We welcomed our families back with some yummy ice cream, our kindergarteners adjusted to their new school lives, and we spent today enjoying all of our brand new learners!

We can’t wait to see EVERYBODY back on campus Tuesday, September 8th! Then our Sussex Montessori community will be complete again 💚🌱

📚 Friendly Reminder, SMS Families! 📚

Tomorrow, Thursday, September 3rd, is a big day at Sussex Montessori!

We’ll welcome our kindergarten students back and all new SMS students for their first day of school! We can’t wait to meet all of our newest members of the Sussex Montessori family.

Please remember that dismissal will be at 12:30 PM tomorrow and that both breakfast and lunch will be served.

Day 2 of Kindergarten is officially in the books, and our kindergartners are doing GREAT! ✏️✂️📝🧮

We’re seeing lots of smiles, new friendships, classroom exploring, and those first little steps toward becoming confident Montessori learners. We couldn’t be more proud!

Tomorrow is a big one! We’ll welcome our kindergartners back AND meet all of our new Sussex Montessori students. Day 3, here we come!

What a wonderful first day for our kindergartners at Sussex Montessori! 💚

Today was filled with new friends, new experiences, big smiles, and lots of little moments that made our hearts happy. Our kindergartners took their first steps into a brand-new school year, and we couldn’t be more proud of how they jumped right in!

Today was just the beginning, and we know it’s setting the stage for a year full of growth, learning, independence, friendship, and plenty of Montessori magic.

We’ll see our kindergartners back here tomorrow for another great day! We can’t wait! 🌱
