The preschool currently has a teaching assistant position available. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who want to make a positive difference in the lives of young children. Employees of St. John's are part-time and must pass a background check. DE qualification certification is a bonus but not required if you are willing to take a few classes online. Join us at the James Farm Ecological Preserve for our FREE Kids’ Day Public Programs! These hands-on programs are designed to help young explorers discover the amazing creatures that call Delaware’s Inland Bays home.

July 10 – Horseshoe Crabs
July 14 – Marvelous Mollusks
July 16 – Crazy Crabs
July 21 – FINtastic Fish

Go follow the Seaford District Library to see all the great events that are planned each week. I spy with my little eye, Music with Ms. Maria, Little Jays Story Time and Coastal Wilds. So many great events to help build those developing brains and breakup the summer slump.

Our week is cut short today, but next week we are having many more programs. We will be open on Saturday, June 27th from 10 to 1 and have a Coastal Wilds Animal Presentation. Don't forget to keep up with your reading logs and keep your passports stamped.

For the Pokémon lovers!

Pokémon Go Fest is launching in 18 days! Saturday, July 11th, the Zoo is doing something special for all Pokémon go trainers...

We will be open our normal hours, 9-4:30, but reopen from 5-7 for a $5 admission. The Dragonflight Summit during these hours increases chances of encountering Pokémon of flight, rock, and dragon type.

Drop in on July 11th to expand your Pokédex, experience an exclusive evening Zoo experience, and help fund the care of our animals!
