United Teachers of Seaford

UTS members Scott Gilbert and Matt Adler helped represent our members at the Fix Tier 6 NYSUT rally in Albany, NY this weekend. Thomas Dinapoli (NYS Comptroller), Governor Hochul, Melinda Person (President of NYSUT) and other union leaders spoke about the importance of unions and the push to reform tier six. It was a packed house, standing room only at the MVP Arena in Albany! The next step in this fight is lobbying the NY State legislature on Tuesday.
