October is National Economic Education Month!

Our Personal Finance students got a hands-on lesson in how markets work! Students participated in a trading activity that simulated both local and global markets. Each student started with an item and had the opportunity to voluntarily trade with others in hopes of getting something they valued more.

Through this activity, students experienced how voluntary trade works and how exchanging goods can benefit both sides of a trade. A fun way to bring economics to life!

SS JAG Students attended a Construction Career Day at Christensen Field in Fremont today. Those attending had the opportunity to learn fiber optic, skid steering obstacle courses, excavator basketball, survey the land and learned measuring techniques.

Congrats to Louisa Pretorius on her 4th place finish at the East Husker Conference cross country meet. All 4 high school runners ran a season best time today!
