We are so excited that we finally got to meet Katie Comfort Dog’s new friend Phinehas Comfort Dog. He gives great hugs 💙 and we can’t wait to hug on him again!

Yesterday,I had a great visit at Bright Beginnings Child Enrichment Center. We all worked on having calm bodies and listening ears. I think we did an awesome job! 💙🐾💙

In anticipation of the extreme winter weather, Bright Beginnings will be closed on Thursday, December 22.

Weather permitting, the center will be open on Friday, December 23 at 7am.

A very strong cold front will move into the region tonight. Strong northerly winds gusting 30 to 50 mph will lead to potential blizzard-like conditions by early Thursday morning.

Only a week left! Please consider donating to our pajama drive!

Bright Beginnings Child Enrichment Center in Scribner is hosting their 12th annual Pajama & Book Drive. The bedtime rituals that so many of us use to help our own children feel special and secure – like cozy clean pajama’s and reading bedtime stories – are unknown to many children. But you can make a difference, one child at a time! You can help provide a child in need feel a bit special and cared for by buying a new pair of pajamas this Christmas. Here is how you can help!

Bright Beginnings is collecting new pajamas, cozy new blankets and/or new or gently used children's books from now until December 15. Upon completion of the pajama drive, each item collected will be delivered to Lutheran Family Services in Fremont and will be distributed to LOCAL families who need them the most.

Here are some simple guidelines:

· Pajamas and blankets must be brand new

· Pajamas in all sizes are needed - from newborn to adult

· Pajamas must be in complete sets or nightgowns

· Pajamas in children's sizes must be manufactured as pajamas - this ensures they are flame retardant and safe

· Children's books may be new or gently used

What better way to make a child smile this holiday season than by providing a toasty pair of new pajamas or a cuddly blanket?

A Donation box is located at Bright Beginnings Child Enrichment Center, 517 7th Street in Scribner. Donations will be accepted until December 15, 2022.
