πŸŽ‰ We're so close!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we have just $1,335 left to raise to reach our NEPA Gives goal!

Did you know it costs approximately $60 per day to educate a student at NativityMiguel School of Scranton?

For the cost of a dinner out, you can provide a young person with a full day of academic support, mentorship, enrichment opportunities, and a safe environment where they can thrive.

Today, would you consider making a gift of $60 and imagine the difference it could make in the life of one child?

Every dollar brings us closer to our goal, and closer to creating the next NativityMiguel success story.

Ten years ago, NativityMiguel School of Scranton opened its doors with a simple belief:

Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed.

Today, one of our graduates is a college freshman pursuing a medical degree on a full scholarship. This summer, she earned a paid internship at a medical center and is already helping support her family here in Scranton.

That is the power of opportunity.

That is the power of education.

That is the power of a community that believes in its children.

As we close out our 10th anniversary year, we invite you to help write the next chapter of the NativityMiguel story.

NEPA Gives begins tonight at 7:00 PM and continues through 7:00 PM tomorrow.

Every gift helps provide academic support, extended day programming, summer learning opportunities, and graduate support services that help our students dream bigger and achieve more.

The first $1,000 donated will be matched dollar for dollar thanks to the generosity of The Moses Taylor Foundation.

Thank you for believing in our students and investing in brighter futures.

πŸŽ“βœ¨ Congratulations to the NativityMiguel School of Scranton Class of 2022 as they celebrate their high school graduation! βœ¨πŸŽ“

Four years ago, these remarkable young men and women left our halls as 8th grade graduates, ready to begin the next chapter of their educational journey. Today, they stand as high school graduates, proof of what is possible through perseverance, hard work, faith, and the support of a community that believes in them.

As a school, we often say that our mission doesn't end at 8th grade. Through our Graduate Support Program, we continue to walk alongside our students as they navigate high school, college, career exploration, and beyond. Watching this class reach this milestone is a powerful reminder of why that commitment matters.

We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and excited to see where their paths lead next. Headed to incredible colleges such as @ and we know they will continue to make a positive impact on the world around them.

Congratulations, graduates! Your NativityMiguel family is cheering you on today and always. πŸ’™πŸ”₯

On March 19th, NativityMiguel School of Scranton was deeply honored to receive the Community Partner Award from Ignatian Volunteer Corps of Northeastern Pennsylvania at their annual Evening of Gratitude celebration.

This recognition means so much to our community. For years, our IVC volunteers have shown up with open hearts and a true spirit of service, supporting our students, strengthening our programs, and living out a shared mission rooted in compassion, dignity, and opportunity.

To celebrate this incredible partnership, a special video tribute was created to tell the story of our work together and the impact it continues to have on our students and school community. It is a powerful reminder of what is possible when people come together in service of something bigger than themselves.

We are so grateful for our wonderful IVC family and the lasting difference they make each and every day. πŸ’™
