We are incredibly grateful to BRIDGE Educational Foundation for helping make educational opportunities possible for our students and students at other schools in our community through Pennsylvania’s tax credit scholarship program.

We’re so ready to welcome our students back! Our classrooms are organized, and our faculty is excited to see everyone tomorrow. Big welcome to our new Principal, Mrs. Hosier & to Ms. Loomis who will be teaching 5th grade! 💙💛

Our 5th and 6th grade students had an incredible final week of Summer Session at Scranton Preparatory School! 💙

Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to explore theater, science, visual arts, technology, athletics, and so much more. Each day brought something new, encouraging our students to be creative, curious, active, and willing to try experiences outside of their regular classroom routines.

The week ended with a fun-filled Field Day, giving everyone one last opportunity to laugh, play, and make memories together before summer break officially began!

We are incredibly grateful to the faculty, staff, and students at Scranton Prep for welcoming our students so warmly and providing such a fun and engaging week. Thank you for sharing your time, talents, and beautiful campus with our NativityMiguel community!

What an incredible way to wrap up our Summer Session! ❤️

Our 7th and 8th grade students spent this week participating in the SPARK Program with the University of Scranton, and what an unforgettable experience it has been.

From team-building challenges and outdoor adventures to meaningful conversations, new friendships, and countless laughs, our students stepped outside their comfort zones and discovered just how much they’re capable of. They encouraged one another, grew in confidence, and created memories that will last long after summer ends.

Today was filled with smiles, hugs, laughter… and yes, quite a few tears as everyone said their goodbyes. That’s the beautiful thing about experiences like SPARK, they create connections that matter.

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing staff and student leaders at the University of Scranton for investing so much time, energy, and care into our students. Your kindness and enthusiasm made this week truly special.

As we close another successful summer session, our hearts are full. 💙 Thank you, SPARK, for helping our students shine a little brighter.

We wrapped up our last day in the classroom before Summer Camp Week in the sweetest way possible! ☀️🍦🍧

Our students enjoyed popsicles and a special visit from the Fidelity Bank Ice Cream Truck, a perfect way to celebrate all of their hard work and kick off an exciting week of summer adventures!

A heartfelt thank you to our friends at Fidelity Bank for treating our students and helping create such a sweet, fun, and memorable day. We are so grateful for community partners who go above and beyond to make our students feel celebrated.

Ten years ago, NativityMiguel School of Scranton opened its doors with a simple belief:

Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed.

Today, one of our graduates is a college freshman pursuing a medical degree on a full scholarship. This summer, she earned a paid internship at a medical center and is already helping support her family here in Scranton.

That is the power of opportunity.

That is the power of education.

That is the power of a community that believes in its children.

🎓✨ Congratulations to the NativityMiguel School of Scranton Class of 2022 as they celebrate their high school graduation! ✨🎓

Four years ago, these remarkable young men and women left our halls as 8th grade graduates, ready to begin the next chapter of their educational journey. Today, they stand as high school graduates, proof of what is possible through perseverance, hard work, faith, and the support of a community that believes in them.

As a school, we often say that our mission doesn't end at 8th grade. Through our Graduate Support Program, we continue to walk alongside our students as they navigate high school, college, career exploration, and beyond. Watching this class reach this milestone is a powerful reminder of why that commitment matters.
