And that's a wrap on our 2026 summer camps! We ended the summer with two amazing camps - Animal Science & Aviation/Aerospace!

In our Animal Science camp, campers learned about 3D prosthetics for animals, the pet food industry, and even dissected an animal kidney!

In the Aviation/Aerospace camp, campers made different types of rockets, learned the basics of physics, and made contraptions to keep their eggs safe from an egg drop.

We are less than a week away from our Community Resource Fair on August 19, 2026 from 5 PM to 7 PM!

This event is free and open to the public with the goal of connecting the community with the awesome organizations and resources in our own backyard!

Organizations in attendance include:

- Outreach Center for Community Resources
- Pennsylvania American Water
- The Wright Center for Community Health

and so many more!

Feel free to drop in anytime between 5 PM and 7 PM on the 19th! Hope to see you there 😊

Learn more about our H2O - Help to Others Program and other customer assistance programs at the Community Resource Fair hosted by Johnson College. Our team will be on hand with information on our programs and how you can save water around you home.

Johnson College will once again be hosting a College-Themed Community Resource Fair on Wednesday, August 19th from 5 PM to 7 PM at our Scranton Campus! The fair will feature organizations from the area sharing their resources and guidance on topics including education, employment, wellness, and more!

Today is the last day of our Solar Summer Camp on our Scranton Campus! This week, our campers learned how to solder, the basics of solar power, and even created a solar-powered charger!

It's the last day of our Honesdale Summer Camps! Thank you to The Stourbridge Project for hosting us again this year!

This week, we held a Carpentry Camp and a Solar Camp for over 20 campers. Our Carpentry Campers used different power and hand tools to assemble their chairs. 🪑🛠️ Our Solar Campers created their own solar-powered phone charger and assembled and used a solar oven! ☀️🔋

It's that time of year again! 🪚🤖🏖️ We kicked off our Summer Camps this week with the Carpentry and Robotics Summer Camps in Elk Lake sponsored by Northern Tier Regional Planning and Development Commission!

Campers in our Carpentry Camp have been learning and working hard to build chairs, while our Robotic Campers have worked with different robots and computer coding. Check out the photos below!

We want to give a big thank you to Northern Tier Regional Planning and Development Commission for sponsoring these camps. We also want to thank our guest speakers from the Carpenters Local Union 445 and JAM Works!
